Cloami hosted a networking seminar with GetMo, a business funding platform focused on accelerating local businesses through capital injections, on August 23, 2024. Cloami and GetMo held the event at Bellamie Boulangerie Cihapit, Bandung, with the theme "Streamlining Fashion Supply Chain." Various well-known clothing brands, including Guten Inc., famous for its high-quality shoes, bags, and apparel, attended the event. Together, Cloami and GetMo educated invitees on the importance of third-party financing to maintain a smooth production process.
On this occasion, Gumilar Sonjaya from Cloami’s Business Development team discussed increasing supply chain efficiency in fashion. "As a manufacturing company, we aim to help fashion brands understand how to optimize each stage of clothing production—from raw material selection to final distribution—so that they can create a smoother, more cost-efficient supply chain," Gumilar explained. He also outlined Cloami’s clothing production services, from tailor service to covering the entire production process.
From the GetMo side, Reza Farabi, the Business Development team presented the pitch. Reza explained that sufficient financing can help speed up clothing production and enhance a brand's competitiveness in a dynamic market. "Clothing brands often fall far behind their competitors and become irrelevant to consumers due to production delays caused by limited financing," Reza stated after presenting GetMo's services, which offer various funding schemes, ranging from working capital in the form of term loans, revenue-based, to invoice financing.
After the presentations, invitees participated in free consultations with Cloami and GetMo to discuss production plans and financing needs. Through these discussions, they received tailored advice that addressed the challenges they were facing. The consultations lasted 1.5 hours and concluded with a group photo featuring all the participants.
Through this seminar, Cloami and GetMo committed to creating a space for fashion professionals to network and learn about financing and supply chain management.
